1. Shell Ideas360:
- Shell Ideas360 is a global students competition organized by Shell International Limited, encouraging students to develop innovative solutions for tackling energy, water, and food challenges. You can participate individually or in teams of up to three, with opportunities to share ideas in an online community before submitting your final project. Up to 100 entries will be selected for further development, with guidance from Shell mentors and experts. Prizes include a year’s subscription to National Geographic for runners-up, and a National Geographic expedition for the overall winner, to be taken during the summer vacation period in 2014.

2. Sony World Photography Awards – Youth Award:
- The Sony World Photography Awards seeks to discover the next generation of talented young photographers through its Youth Award. Whether you’re a photography student or an enthusiast, this competition offers a chance to gain international recognition. Choose from three categories: Culture, Environment, and People. Prizes include having your image displayed in a London exhibition and the official competition book, global media coverage, digital SLR camera equipment, and the opportunity to travel to London with VIP tickets to the awards ceremony.
Who can enter? Anyone aged 19 and under.
3. The New School Competition:
- Here’s your opportunity to win a scholarship for a bachelor’s degree in art and design, music, or the liberal arts at The New School in New York City. - Brazilian students have the chance to win a tuition fee waiver for a master’s program at a leading Swedish university—either Chalmers University of Technology or Linköping University. Winners will also receive a paid internship during their studies at a company such as Saab or Stora Enso. Participants must complete a series of tests and quizzes, along with an application essay and personal statement.
Who can enter? Brazilian engineering and natural science students, and recent graduates of engineering, architecture, or natural science degrees from Brazilian universities.
5. Fordham Business Challenge:
- The Fordham Business Challenge offers aspiring business students a chance to live and study in New York City. Participants who successfully navigate a series of quizzes about New York, general affairs, and their field of study could win a scholarship for a specialized master’s program at Fordham University’s Graduate School of Business Administration (GBA). Eight full scholarships and eight half-scholarships are available.
Who can enter? Students interested in applying for a master’s program at Fordham University in one of eight selected fields.
6. Stockholm Innovation Scholarship Competition:
- This student competitions, open to those based in Stockholm, aims to inspire entrepreneurial thinking and support innovators in advancing their ideas. Seven winning innovations will share a prize pool of 600,000 SEK (about US$93,500). The award ceremony will take place at Stockholm City Hall during Nobel Week in December.
Who can enter? Anyone who lives, works, or studies in Stockholm.
7. Snap, Style & Share Student Competitions:
- Another great opportunity for aspiring photographers, this competition invites you to capture a photo that exemplifies exceptional design—whether it’s an innovative piece of architecture or a stunning natural scene. 9. Go Green in The City 2014 Student Competitions:
- Schneider Electric’s Go Green in the students competition challenges students globally to propose innovative ideas for improving urban energy management. The top 12 teams will be flown to Paris for a final showdown, with the chance to win a round-the-world trip and a career opportunity at Schneider Electric.
Who can enter? Business and engineering students in teams of two, with at least one female participant.
10. MDH Tech Race 2013 Student Competitions :
- Mälardalen University in Sweden invites students worldwide to test their engineering and technology knowledge through a timed online quiz. Participants also need to submit a motivational statement.
